The 1050 an 1070 series are 5.0” bore space splay cap blocks. The 1050 and 1070 series blocks are offered in a spread .110” or spread .160” main spacing configuration. The 1050 blocks are used for motor sizes up to 740 cubic inches. The +.400” high cam design is well suited for CFE, Eicke-Brodix, and Ray Franks cylinder heads. The 1070 blocks are very popular for all 5.0” bore space motors from 500 to 800+ cubic inches. The +1.0” high cam design is well suited for Alan Johnson, CFE, Eicke-Brodix, RFE, Sonny’s GM Hemi, and Sonny’s GM Wedge cylinder heads.
