Callies Compstar H I Beam Rods

Compstar engineers once again lead the way with innovative new ideas in connecting rod design. The new H-I is a hybrid style rod that uniquely combines features of both the H-beam and I-beam rod.
Targeted at boosted and nitrous equipped SBC and LSX engines, the H-I has material added to increase strength in areas that are prone to fatigue when used at higher power levels. The pin and bearing housing bore have material added to triangulate the bore to beam transitions with a 25% increase in beam thickness, with less than 6% added weight.
If you like our original H-beams, but your anticipated power level is approaching 4 digits, it’s time to consider the Compstar H-I. It’s a great combination of high strength, reasonable weight, and High Value Design.
